The Andover Volunteer Fire Department provides the small, Eastern Connecticut town of Andover with Fire and EMS service. We are also members of the Tolland County Dive Team. Our territory includes one of the most dangerous roads in America; the 11 mile stretch of Route 6 from Bolton to Columbia, also known as Suicide 6. Don’t become a Suicide 6 statistic. Please drive it with care.

The Andover Volunteer Fire Department is looking for members to serve as Firefighters, EMTs, and/or Fire Police. If you are 16 years of age or older, responsible, willing to learn, and hard working, then we need you. Firefighting or EMS experience is not required.
